Really excited to do this app thing, mainly because I want to actually design an app and not have it as an afterthought, so I'm starting from the ground up. It's a good opportunity considering this map is being made primarily for digital media anyways so hopefully it shouldn't be much more difficult than setting out the template and then working within that framework.
Every app needs a home page. Having had an iPhone for a while (not bragging) i've noticed alot of them have home loading pages with just the logo on it basically, so the home page of this app is going to set the standard for the rest of the functional app pages. Using an underlay grassy background, I dropped the colour balances to get it more even and darker, then tested a few variations of different gradients of the green I've been using for the logo.
