Titles

We were given a structure with which to create potential titles by using the themes/subjects and design diciplines for our Design Context publication, being

A ............. investigation of ............. with a focus on .............

Here are the mash-ups I made:

An information driven investigation of astronomy with a focus on screen print
A distribution based investigation of message with a focus on its application for digital media
A structure and form based investigation of packaging with a focus on speciality print finishes
An image based investigation of structure with a focus on layout and publication design
A digital investigation of message & its meaning with a focus on iconography
A print driven investigation of the simplification of image with a focus on information graphics
An investigation of computer games with a focus on identity
A promotional investigation of film & film culture with a focus on image
An structural investigation of type as image with a focus on form

We're then to take 3 forward as a starting point and break them down further, creating potential chapters for the publication. Here's an example:

An information driven investigation of astronomy with a focus on screen print

Information
- Categorising & Organising
- Display & Distribution of
- Simplification
- Focus on Audience & Tone

Astronomy
- Black Holes: Their formation & effect
- Formation of Celestial Bodies
- Earth & its place
- The solar system
- Stars & Constellations
- Celestial matter & meteors

Screen Print
- As a process
- High end finishes
- Large & small scale
- Use of inks

The idea then, is from these possibilities to branch out even further, for example, take 'Screen Print - Use of Ink' can be split again into types of ink/sustainability & environmental inks etc
