MVUF Icon Testing

Trying to formulate in my head some icons for the various places on the map. I want to expand the map to include directional signage around the farm itself and also for the places themselves on the farm, so I'm just trying to work out what form they'll take. Circles might be a bit obvious, and the cartoony drawings I did before didn't seem to work, so I'm going for something a little more clinical, maybe more clean and simple, kinda like medical packaging.

Thought type might work but as quickly as I thought it would, when trying it out I realised it wouldn't. Cos when you think about it, the main audience of this thing is families after all, which includes kids. And type is too much.
