YRbk layout pushing

Pushing the layouts a little. Much of what I did before was concept-y type stuff, just getting the groundwork down. Now we've got an idea of the directions we do (and don't) want to go in, I've just done a number of layouts that try to incorporate some of the good bits of what we do like.

One thing we're keen on is the idea of a the elements that we can move, being the images and then the section of title, portrait and type as a block. The challenge becomes moving them around like pieces on a chessboard.

The type on the above is a bit much. Adam really likes Rockwell at the minute (he's going through a phase) but the profile block feels a lot more real. Plus it fits in our awesome 12x12 grid (which was my call, can i just point out).
